Babysitters for our Müttersprachcafé (für Mütter und ihre Babys)

Müttersprachcafé Müttersprachcafé is a weekly community meeting that takes place every Friday from 14:00 to 16:00. It is dedicated to women with a migration background who are also mothers. The aim of the project is to create a safe and welcoming space where mothers can come together to share their experiences, challenges, and joys related to motherhood — and beyond. Each week, we offer a different discussion topic related to parenting, early childhood development, or aspects of everyday life as a mother. The conversation also provides an opportunity for participants to practice their German in a supportive and relaxed environment, helping them build confidence in speaking the language. Above all, Müttersprachcafé is about building community. We want to create a space of trust, support, and belonging for women who may not always find that elsewhere. We are currently looking for female volunteers who are willing to help care for small children (ages 0–5) during the meetings, so that the mothers can fully take part in the sessions.
